Rare Vintage Natural Baltic Amber Fossilized Tree Sap Necklace, Antique

Rare Beauty, Vintage Amber Fossilized Tree Sap Necklace. (Not a gem origin) Flat on one side that lays on chest. Other side varies in roundness, shape, and size of the various Amber pieces. Sizes vary from largest piece about 1 1/4 inch long by 1 inch wide to smallest about 1/4 inch long by 1/4 inch wide. Well made and good condition for age of necklace.

Clarity varies as Amber pieces vary from dark to clear. Metal origin is not known but detail of metal design is unique and rare. Clasp is old style hook. Necklace not clasped across is about 20 inches. That is across not clasped of first layer also.

There are two layers of the necklace. Keep separate from other jewelry. Preferred to lay flat alone wrapped in delicate soft cloth with no other jewelry because pieces can become nicked more with rub against of other next to.
