Natural 1920 to 1940 butter scotch egg yolk Baltic amber bead necklace. Chunky beads with beautiful shapes and colors. Cognac, Apple juice, translucent cherry with some unusual inclusions, white stripes, Scrambled egg, mix of butterscotch to caramel. Hand knotted with one knot between each bead.
No uniform shape but thick and chunky more tube like. This is the real genuine deal.
Some beads lighter in color from clear while others somewhat opaque. Even the darkest colors are translucent in bright light. Several have line striat of marbling, several have inclusions. My favorite seems to look like a wing of an insect, some have leaf or dirt or dark matter inside.
No two beads are the same. 32 inches long no clasp that I can see. The necklace weighs 50 grams. Guaranteed genuine, and floats in salt water.
