Antique Baltic Amber Necklace Butterscotch Egg Yolk Bead Length 34 Weight 70 grams. Came from large estate in Maryland Art Deco Era - Make us an offer! Internet says 1 gram of Baltic amber = 5 carats, - this is where we got the 350 carat weight but its better to go by weight in grams. The Largest center bead measures 27.8mm. The next size are 2 beads, 1 on each side, each at 24.7mm. Next to that are 2 beads, 1 on each side, at 19.6mm. After that we have a total of 8 beads, 4 on each side, measuring 16.7 each. And lastly, we have 22 beads, 11 on each side, measuring 13.2mm. Each bead may vary slightly. I only measured 1 of each size.

There are 52 sterling silver spacer beads between the amber. Amber Necklace was tested in 1 part salt 2 parts water and beads float.
