This very large piece of Baltic Amber was acquired at a recent estate sale. It was wrapped with the silver wire as shown and thus crafted into a pendant that can be worn on a leather cord or silver chain as a piece of jewelry. I assume that you can unwrap it if you want to return it to its natural state.

This is a very natural looking piece of amber - it resembles a piece of wood with deep grooves like driftwood or decaying wood that you find on the bottom of the forest. You may have a different interpretation of what it resembles. Approximately 4" long, approximately 2-1/2" wide at the widest, approximately 1-1/4 deep.

Weighs 88.3 grams (including the silver wire). This is almost 3 oz.
