This is a spectacularly beautiful, & incredibly rare classic Art Nouveau ring in astonishing condition for its age. I will try to take photos of the ring being worn, for the photos do no justice to it whatsoever.I & have never seen another remotely like it & the Amber is fabulous, a true marmalade amber with a near jelly translucency & when the light catches it has bright flashes of reflective light. Setting beneath the stone cradles the finger so making sure that the ring does not move & adds security to the stone, the.
Amber stone measures a whopping great. Is supported beneath by a silver frame & is held in place by 4 sets of Georgian-style double & triple claws, the triple claws at either side of the ring making up the "stamens" I think, of the beautifully made 4 petalled flower head set beneath. 925 & SIL stamped to the inside of the shank, there is another hallmark or makers mark which is a wide circle with RR set above what looks like a large triangle, I have tried to research it but have had no luck, if anyone can shed any light then please do, I know this makers mark is going to mean something to someone. It measures around 2cm almost.5 side to side across the INSIDE of the band , the only minor issues are the minor nibbles to the outer edges , a decent jeweller could carefully sort this out. A beautifull elegant heirloom ring. Any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Please remember to take this into account before opening any Not Recieved Item case.
